Dearest ‘Lizbeth My friend of 19 years. I remember the first time we met it was when I brought Calah into the office when I was on maternity leave and there you were, the new lady. It seems like yesterday but it was over 19 years ago. We instantly clicked and it was the start of a long and special friendship that lasted the test of time and followed us from one country to another. Over the years I watched you tackle life head on in true Liz style. The road you were dealt was not always easy but you didn’t ever waiver you simply dealt with each situation with a steely determination. You didn’t ever seem to see obstacles just curves in the road. You were a good friend Liz, a constant fixture in my life and the life of all the Van Quicks. Always up for a laugh and good party. Yes, you were the party queen! So many happy memories, I’ll always remember how we laughed until we cried and our sides hurt. We used to do that so often especially on our way home from work in the car. I don’t know how I didn’t crash the car some days. Liz, you are the strongest, bravest and most determined lady I will ever know. A wonderful person and friend.
